I'd run from the darkness now I've got no place to go...Marg Hmm so George Bush says that "all religions are against same-sex marriages", but guess what? NOT EVERYONE BELIEVES IN GOD. I would just like everyone to know that. Not everyone has a religion and not everyone believes in God. This, my friends, is why we have SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. Religion shouldn't even be playing a part in issues such as abortion and same-sex marriages because we, in the US, don't have a set religion that everyone has to follow. We all don't believe the same thing. Freedom of belief. Seriously, amending the constitution, which is supposed to give everyone equal rights under the law, is a little drastic don't you think? Furthermore, Bush is trying to draw our attention away from things such as our huge unemployment rate and the fact that we went to war with iraq on false pretences. I wish I could vote so bad. I won't be able to until next election. Politics aside, my horoscope was right. I did have an excellent conversation today. |
