there's no mystery no more just no talking to you...Marg You know who I hate? George Bush. What a dickhead. I don't know. I just think it's so hypocritical that he can send our men over seas to get killed on false pretenses but he's so against abortion. First of all, I'm not some baby hating weirdo. I probably wouldn't get an abortion. But the fact of the matter is, you can't tell a woman what to do with her body. If she wants to get one, she's going to get one. Abortion can save many women's lives. People always talk about the women who became depressed after they got an abortion, but what about the women who didn't? The ones who had the children? The ones who became depressed or even killed themselves after that? Left their family? The sixteen year old who had everything going for her until she made one mistake? The thirteen year old who was raped? I was talking to my friend a few months ago. She's very religious, very pro-life and probably anti-gay marriage. She can't understand why anyone wouldn't love to be a Christian. She said that if she were raped and became pregnant, she would still have the baby. And you know what? That's fine. It would be her choice. Just as it would be another woman's choice to have an abortion instead. What I hate the most is the people who stand with signs in front of abortion clinics and harass the patients. They don't know them! They don't know why they are there! How can they stand there yelling when they have no idea what the person has been through. They just assume they're some bad person who likes to kill fetuses. It's just so ignorant! I just...I don't know. I am getting fed up with the Christian religion. Have you noticed that it's always the Christians who try and force religion upon everyone else? That have Jesus bumper stickers and crosses all over the place? I mean, you never see an "I love Muhammed" bumper sticker. Maybe a Star of David every once in awhile but rarely. I just think that people do some pretty stupid things in the name of religion.(i.e. Sept. 11, that woman who killed her two kids - she said God told her to) I believe in God. I don't believe in Hell. That's pretty much all I know right now. There are so many different religions out there saying different things. Who are we to know which one is right? Were any of us there when Christ was around? No. So therefore, we don't know if we are right. All we have is the Bible which has been translated millions of times and takes place many years ago. I mean, couldn't all our bible stories be just like Mythology? They had stories too. They claimed that different Gods came down and did certain things. Yet we think them silly. They just said things like that because they didn't know how anything worked. Those stories were their explainations for things. Yet, maybe, the Bible was our way of explaining things? I'm probably way off base here, but I'm just saying that you shouldn't spend your life reading into everything the Bible says because in the end it could be wrong. We could be wrong. It could be nothing like we thought it would ever be. I'm not saying don't go to church or don't worship God, just don't waste your life on it unless you are really sure. Experiance things! Live is for living. Sorry if some of that didn't make sense and I spelled stuff wrong. It's almost 12 and I'm tired. |
